Job summary

Vylor, Inc. in Michigan is seeking a Production Technician to support Corteva seed production, operating process equipment safely and efficiently while following Quality Plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent; GED within one year of hire.
• Willingness to obtain GED within one year.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles: 5S, Continuous Improvement, Standardized Work.
• Experience with WMS and SAP/ERP systems.
• Forklift operation experience.
• Agricultural experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment following safety policies and procedures.
• Collect and record data for continuous improvement projects and production records.
• Support preventative maintenance and general repair efforts.
• Lead or support a defined safety program to enhance site safety.
• Assist with warehousing activities including forklift operation.
• Use automation and computerized systems (HMI, tablets) to perform tasks.
• Assist with field management activities such as scouting and harvest logistics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
