Job summary

Vylor, located in Hermiston, OR, is seeking a Production Technician to join our seed production operations on site. You will run process equipment, follow Quality Plan instructions, collect data, and support preventive maintenance to ensure safe, high-quality output.

This role involves warehousing support, field activities during the season, and adherence to safety programs. Strong technical skills, reliability, and teamwork are essential to help us meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or willing to obtain your GED within one year of hire as a condition of employment
• Legally able to work in the United States with no visa sponsorship
• Valid US driver’s license to drive a company vehicle to field locations when needed

Responsibilities

• Run a variety of process equipment while adhering to safety policies
• Ensure compliance with Quality Plan Work Instructions
• Collect and record data for continuous improvement and production records
• Support preventative maintenance and general repair efforts
• Lead or support a safety program to enhance site safety
• Assist with warehousing activities including forklift operation
• Use automation and computerized systems to perform tasks (HMI, PCs, iPads)
• Assist with harvest activities and field-related tasks as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
