Job summary

Vylor is seeking a Production Technician in Dysart, Iowa, to support seed production operations on-site. You will operate equipment, follow quality plans, collect data for continuous improvement, and participate in warehousing and harvest activities, with safety at the forefront.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED and willingness to work rotating shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays, with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willing to obtain GED within one year of hire as a condition of employment.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate various process equipment following safety policies.
• Record and collect data for quality and production records.
• Support preventative maintenance and general repair efforts.
• Lead or support a safety program to enhance site safety.
• Assist with warehousing activities including forklift operation.
• Use automation and computerized systems (HMI, tablets, etc.) for tasks.
• Assist with harvest activities and field-related duties as needed.
