Vylor is seeking a Production Technician in Algona, IA to support seed production operations on-site. You will operate process equipment, collect data, and participate in safety initiatives to ensure safe, efficient production and quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to quality plans and standard work. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, flexibility for rotating shifts, and proficiency with basic computer tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or obtainable within one year of hire.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with computers; familiarity with Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment following company safety policies.
• Record data for continuous improvement and production records.
• Support preventive maintenance and general repair efforts.
• Assist with warehousing activities including forklift operation.
• Use automation and computerized systems (HMI, PCs, tablets).
• Contribute to safety programs to improve site safety.
• Assist with harvest-related processes as needed.
