Job summary

Vylor, located in York, NE, is hiring a Production Technician to support seed production operations. You will operate process equipment, follow quality plans, and use automated systems to ensure safe, efficient production and high standards.

This role emphasizes safety, data collection for continuous improvement, and potential field/warehousing tasks. Requires high school diploma, ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends, and legal authorization to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Safety-focused and adherence to company policies.
• Willingness to work a rotating 12-hour shift including weekends.
• Able to operate/process equipment and use automated systems.
• Comfortable collecting data for continuous improvement and maintaining records.
• Ability to drive a company vehicle to field locations when needed.

Responsibilities

• Run various process equipment while following safety policies.
• Adhere to Quality Plan Work Instructions and requirements.
• Collect and record data for process improvements and production records.
• Support preventative maintenance and general repair tasks.
• Lead or support safety initiatives across the site.
• Assist with warehousing activities including forklift operations.
• Operate automation systems (HMI, computers, tablets) to perform tasks.
• Possible field management duties such as scouting and field planning.
• Assist with harvest activities and related processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
