Job summary

Vylor, Inc. in Renwick, IA is seeking a Production Technician to support seed production operations on-site. You will operate process equipment, follow Quality Plan instructions, collect data, and assist with maintenance and warehousing tasks.

Safety is central, and flexibility for shifts is required to meet seasonal demands. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, strong computer skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; willingness to obtain GED within 1 year of hire.
• Safety policies must be followed at all times.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment following safety policies and quality plans.
• Collect and record data for continuous improvement and production records.
• Support preventative maintenance and general repairs.
• Lead or support safety programs across the site.
• Assist with warehousing activities including forklift operation.
• Use automation and computerized systems (HMI, tablets, PCs).
• Potential field management duties and coordination with growers/contractors.
• Assist with harvest activities such as seed sampling and truck unloading.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
