Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Security Service Technician in Wisconsin to join a culture focused on growth and exceptional service. This full-time role requires diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electronic security and building automation systems, plus providing timely service calls and solid documentation.

Candidates should have high school diploma, 1-3 years relevant experience, hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Developing exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Developing technical skills related to building automation, fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Ability to develop basic programming skills and troubleshoot problems.
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude with hand and power tools.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and some non-routine customer service calls and maintenance visits on time.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, replace defective parts and debug systems.
• Install projects as necessary and document service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Coordinate with teammates and possibly perform small projects and system upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company health and safety policies.
