Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician to service, support, and perform small projects for our customers. You will respond to service calls, diagnose issues, replace defective parts, and install projects, contributing to our culture of world-class service.

You will work with a team to maintain safety standards, complete reports, and travel locally as needed. A high school diploma and 3–5 years in access control or electronic security is preferred; valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
• Preferred experience in field service and access control platforms.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and non-routine service calls, troubleshoot, repair, and install projects.
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Document service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Collaborate with team members and other specialists to support customers.
