Convergint is seeking a Security Service Technician to join our Milwaukee-area team. This full-time role involves responding to service calls, diagnosing and repairing security and life-safety systems, and performing routine maintenance on installed equipment.

You’ll work closely with colleagues, follow safety policies, and prepare detailed service reports for invoicing. Prior experience in building automation or electronic security is helpful; high school diploma or equivalent required; a

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to respond to routine service calls, diagnose and repair security systems.
• Experience with building automation, fire/life-safety or electronic security systems is preferred.
• Proficient in basic programming and able to use MS Office for reports.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and after-hours service calls, diagnose and repair security systems.
• Install projects and perform preventative maintenance on installed systems.
• Prepare detailed service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Collaborate with teammates and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with system upgrades, audits, and basic project work as needed.
