Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician to join our culture of service excellence. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain electronic security and building automation systems for our customers, and complete accurate service reports.

You must have high school or GED, strong customer focus, basic programming, and proficiency with MS Office. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to grow with us.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and able to work under pressure.
• Tech skills related to building automation, fire alarm, and/or electronic security systems.
• Ability to develop basic programming skills and troubleshoot problems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls and maintenance requests in a timely manner; diagnose, repair, replace defective parts and debug systems.
• Install projects as necessary and ensure systems operate correctly.
• Complete accurate and detailed service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Collaborate with team members to improve operations and support customer needs.
