Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician in Wisconsin to service and support existing customers, respond to service calls, and perform small projects. The role emphasizes safety, quality service, and collaboration within a growing team.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure and meet customer needs.
• Solid technical skills related to fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Solid programming skills and ability to troubleshoot problems.
• Self-starter who works well with supervision.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude with common hand/power tools.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel locally to jobsites; minimal overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls and perform routine maintenance on installed systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts; install projects as needed.
• Prepare accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Provide custom system integrations and system upgrades as needed.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure quality service and safety compliance.
• Travel to sites and perform preventative maintenance on security installations.
