Job summary

M.C. Dean seeks a seasoned Superintendent to lead Security and Electronic Systems (SES) projects in the Fort Wayne area. You will oversee all construction phases, coordinate with subs and clients, and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in security project delivery, CPM scheduling proficiency, and hands-on access control and VMS experience; travel up to 50% and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing security projects over $500k.
• Strong CPM scheduling and project planning skills.
• Experience with access control and video management systems (VMS).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work nights/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and quality.
• Coordinate subcontractors, scheduling, site safety, permits, and stakeholder communication.
• Review design documentation for constructability and adherence to standards.
• Manage material and labor planning, 4-week look-ahead forecasts, and unit tracking.
• Support logistics and project metrics; ensure proper documentation and QA/QC.
• Lead resource-loaded schedules and maintain project org chart; ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers to drive prefab processes and pre-fabrication plans.
