Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Superintendent 1 to lead Security and Electronic Systems projects. The role covers overseeing all phases of construction, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring safety, and delivering high-quality cyber-physical solutions for federal, local, and commercial clients.

Strong CPM scheduling, leadership, and communication are required. Open to travel, candidates should have extensive experience in security installations and Access Control/Video Management Systems, with the

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED with 10+ years of experience in security projects.
At least ten years in installation, integration, and testing of security systems valued at >$500k.
Experience leading security projects as PM, Superintendent, or Foreman.
Experience installing conduits and wiring.
Experience with Access Control and Video Management Systems.
Basic networking knowledge and civil coordination experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee construction projects from inception to completion, on time and within budget.
Coordinate subcontractors, safety, permits, and stakeholder communication.
Lead weekly resource meetings and develop resource-loaded schedules.
Conduct quality reviews of design documentation and ensure safety compliance.
Manage project documentation including Change Orders and RFIs.
Collaborate with engineers on prefab processes and testing.
