Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Superintendent for the Security and Electronic Systems unit to oversee construction projects from inception to completion on federal, local, and commercial sites.

You will coordinate safety, permits, budgets, and schedules, managing subcontractors and field teams while ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery of complex security system installations. Travel up to 50% is required; strong leadership, CPM scheduling, and experience with Access Control and Video

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 10+ years of experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in installation, integration, testing of electronic security projects >$500k.
• Experience in the Security Industry.
• 2+ years in management of security projects as PM/Superintendent/Foreman.
• Experience installing conduit and wiring systems.
• Experience with head end programming/testing of Access Control and Video Management Systems.
• Understanding of basic network infrastructure.
• Experience with project scheduling, job cost, safety, documentation, QC.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high safety standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors, scheduling, site safety, permits, and stakeholder communication.
• Lead safety plans, develop 12+ week look-ahead schedules, ensure timelines.
