Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician to service and support customers by responding to service calls, performing maintenance, and handling small projects. You will be part of a team that values culture, growth, and delivering results in the security services space.

The role requires strong technical skills in fire alarm and electronic security, programming ability, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and able to work under pressure.
• Solid technical skills related to fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Strong programming skills and ability to troubleshoot.
• Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude with hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and non-routine service calls and maintenance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts and systems.
• Install projects as necessary and ensure proper operation.
• Complete accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Assist with system integration and data management for projects.
• Comply with health and safety policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with team to improve overall operations.
