Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician to service and support customers, respond to service calls, and assist with small projects. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and customer-first service while growing with a supportive culture.

You will work on access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems, providing maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations. Travel locally may be required; a valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
• Experience with CCTV systems (Milestone/Genetec).
• Intrusion experience (DMP/Bosch).
• Prefer field service experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service, maintenance, and emergency calls promptly.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair access control and security systems.
• Install projects and configure networked devices and software.
• Prepare accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Coordinate with team to ensure customer satisfaction.
