Job summary

Convergint in Fort Myers is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician to service and support existing customers by responding to service calls, performing maintenance, and assisting with small projects. You will join a dynamic team in a culture that values growth and accountability.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience with access control and electronic security systems, solid troubleshooting skills, a valid driver's license, and a readiness to travel locally.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of fire alarm/electronic security systems.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter who works well with supervision.
• Ability to travel locally to job sites on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and non-routine service calls, scheduled maintenance, and after-hours calls.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts; install small projects.
• Prepare accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Assist with system upgrades, audits, and integrations as needed.
• Coordinate with team to ensure consistent service delivery.
