Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Technician to join our culture. You will install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on assigned projects, including small or less complex work.

As part of a dynamic team, you’ll interpret manuals and wiring diagrams, perform routine programming and commissioning, and ensure top-notch service to customers in the Fort Myers area. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; willingness to learn technical skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude; comfortable using hand/power tools.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; ability to travel to local jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on security systems.
• Test, repair, and service a variety of security, fire alarm, and related building systems.
• Interpret manuals and wiring diagrams; perform routine programming and commissioning.
• Provide exceptional service and support to customers, ensuring satisfaction.
