Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician to service and support existing customers, respond to service calls, and handle small projects. You will be part of a collaborative team within a culture that prioritizes growth and quality service.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience with access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems, and hold a valid driver’s license. The role involves local travel and occasional after-hours calls, with a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• 3–5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
• Solid technical skills related to fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and some non-routine customer service calls, scheduled maintenance, and emergency after-hours service calls.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts; install projects as necessary.
• Prepare accurate and detailed service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Provide systems integration planning, upgrades, audits, and basic project support.
