Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician in the United States to service and support existing customers, respond to service calls, and carry out small projects. You will be part of a team that fosters growth and a positive culture.

The role requires hands-on work with fire alarm and electronic security systems, solid troubleshooting, and the ability to travel locally to sites. Convergint offers comprehensive benefits and an equal opportunity workplace.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
• Experience with CCTV and intrusion systems is preferred.
• Ability to travel locally to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and some non-routine customer service calls, diagnose, repair and install projects as necessary.
• Complete accurate service reports for customer and Convergint for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Provide custom systems integrations, upgrades, audits and consultation as needed.
• Install, configure, and support a variety of network systems and equipment for assigned projects.
• Work with team members to improve overall operations of the Convergint Technology Center.
