Job summary

Convergint is looking for a full-time Security Service Technician to service and support existing customers, respond to service calls, and assist with small projects. You will work within a dynamic team that values quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

You bring hands-on technical skills with fire alarm or electronic security systems, a strong customer focus, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair on-site. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
• Solid technical skills related to fire alarm or electronic security systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and some non-routine customer service calls and maintenance visits.
• Diagnose, repair and replace defective parts in security systems.
• Install small projects and support system upgrades and integrations.
• Prepare accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Travel locally to job sites and ensure compliance with safety policies.
