Job summary

Convergint, a leading global service provider, is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician in the United States. You will service customer sites, respond to service calls, perform preventative maintenance, and support small projects while upholding Convergint's values and customer-first culture.

You’ll leverage your knowledge of access control, CCTV, and alarm systems to diagnose and repair equipment, complete detailed service reports, and travel locally to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum Experience: 3-5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
• Preferred Experience: CCTV experience including Milestone/Genetec; Access Control experience with Lenel/Genetec/CCURE/S2; Intrusion experience with DMP/Bosch.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and non-routine customer service calls, scheduled maintenance, and emergency after-hours service calls.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, replace defective parts and test systems for routine problems.
• Complete accurate service reports for customers and Convergint for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Perform basic systems installations, configurations, and small projects as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies and collaborate with team members to improve operations.
