Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician to service and support existing customers, respond to service calls, and assist with small projects. You will be part of a dynamic team that values growth and a customer-first culture.

The role requires hands-on technical skills with access control systems (AMAG/Lenel/Genetec/Software House), willingness to travel locally, and a commitment to safety and quality. A high school diploma and 3–5 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
• Experience with fire alarms or electronic security systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and some non-routine service calls, maintenance, and emergency calls.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts; install projects as necessary.
• Prepare accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• May install, configure, and support network systems and equipment for projects.
