Job summary

Convergint, a global integrator of security systems, is seeking a Security Service Technician in New Jersey to service, troubleshoot, and repair customer systems. You will respond to routine and urgent service calls, perform maintenance, install small projects, and prepare detailed service reports to ensure accurate billing and cost tracking.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience with access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems, strong problem-solving skills, and a valid driver's

Qualifications

• 3-5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
• Experience with CCTV Milestone/Genetec and intrusion systems.
• Strong customer focus and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and non-routine service calls, maintenance calls, and emergency after-hours calls; diagnose, repair, replace parts and debug systems.
• Install projects as necessary and provide detailed service reports for billing and cost tracking.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-train on servicing existing customers, including small projects.
