Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Security Service Technician in Las Vegas to service existing customers, respond to calls, and support small projects. The role offers growth within a strong team culture and opportunities across security systems and integrations.

You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot, and install projects while upholding safety policies and company standards. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally are required.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• 3–5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
• Experience with CCTV and security systems preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of fire alarm/electronic security systems is a plus.
• Willingness to travel locally to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and some non-routine customer service calls, scheduled maintenance calls, and emergency and after-hours service calls.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, replace defective parts and debug systems for routine problems; install projects as necessary.
• Complete accurate service reports for customer and Convergint for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Provide system upgrades, audits, and consultation; install, configure, and support network systems and equipment as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and local regulations and company health and safety policies.
• Collaborate with team members to improve Convergint Technology Center operations.
