Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician to service and support existing customers, respond to service calls, and manage small projects. You will diagnose, repair, and install security systems, with emphasis on customer satisfaction and safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Solid technical skills related to fire alarm systems and electronic security systems.
• Solid programming skills and proven troubleshooting ability.
• Self-starter and able to work with direct supervision.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and some non-routine customer service calls, scheduled maintenance, and after-hours requests.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, replace defective parts and debug systems for routine problems; install projects as necessary.
• Install, configure, and support a variety of network systems and equipment for assigned projects.
• Complete accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Collaborate with team to support customer needs and training; perform preventive maintenance.
