Job summary

Convergint is looking for a full-time Security Service Technician to join our culture. You will service and support existing customers by responding to service calls, carrying out Customer Support Programs and small projects.

You will work with a collaborative team, follow safety policies, and build expertise in access control, intrusion, and surveillance systems. Local travel and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Solid technical skills related to fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Programming skills and ability to troubleshoot problems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and some non-routine service calls, scheduled maintenance, and emergency calls.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, replace defective parts, and debug systems.
• Install projects and perform system upgrades as needed.
• Prepare accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Perform preventative maintenance on installed systems.
