Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Service Specialist to join a dynamic team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain security systems, respond to service calls, and ensure accurate service reporting. The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, cross-training with teammates, and delivering world-class service to clients while complying with safety policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Developing exceptional customer focus under pressure.
• Building knowledge in building automation, fire alarm, and electronic security systems.
• Ability to acquire basic programming skills and troubleshoot issues.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and use of hand tools.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine service calls and scheduled maintenance; diagnose, repair, replace defective parts, and debug systems.
• Install projects as necessary and ensure timely reporting of service activities.
• Provide accurate and detailed service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Perform preventative maintenance on installed systems and support cross-training on existing customers.
• Coordinate with team members to improve operations and service delivery.
• Assist with custom system integrations and small project work as needed.
• Comply with Federal, State, and local regulations and company safety policies.
• Support customers and colleagues to ensure high-quality service.
• Carry out system checkout, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks for security installations.
