Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Service Specialist to join our culture of excellence in the United States. You’ll provide world-class service, diagnose and repair electronic security and building automation systems, and support preventative maintenance across assigned projects.

You’ll operate with integrity, safety, and teamwork, handling routine and some non-routine service calls, generating detailed service reports, and collaborating with technicians to expand our trusted service

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and able to work under pressure.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of building automation, fire alarm, or electronic security systems.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic programming concepts.
• Hands-on experience with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine service calls, maintenance calls, and after-hours service as needed.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, replace defective parts and install projects.
• Prepare accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Assist with system upgrades, audits and integrations as needed.
