Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a founding manager for the Security Sales Specialist team. You will lead Sr. Security Sales Specialists across a territory, partnering with architects and account executives to win cyber-security deals.

You will hire and develop the team, drive disciplined forecasting, and deliver on revenue objectives while expanding the portfolio across Cohesity's security offerings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years selling security to CISO/VP of Security buyers.
• Experience leading a quota-carrying sales team.
• Track record forecasting pipeline in complex enterprise accounts.
• Fluency in cyber-resilience landscape for consultative sales.
• Ability to build executive-grade decks and business cases.
• Disciplined CRM and forecasting habits.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity.
• Professional English for customer/internal communication.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Own the Security revenue number for your team and hit the quota.
• Hire, ramp, coach, and retain a team of Security Sales Specialists.
• Lead forecast and pipeline reviews and report to VP, Sales Security.
• Engage on top opportunities without taking over the deal.
• Coordinate with Security Solutions Architecture on coverage and planning.
• Develop enablement, ramp plans, and career paths for the team.
