Carvana in Chandler, AZ seeks a Safe and Secure Associate to join the team. The role focuses on protecting associates, customers, and assets, managing entry and exit points, and enforcing safety protocols in a fast-paced facility environment.

Open availability is highly preferred with a 18 USD hourly rate, full-time schedule, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with company match as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience within a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of strong decision-making in a complex environment.
• Ability to relate well with others and establish strong working relationships.
• Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to handle conflict situations in a positive way.

Responsibilities

• Manage and properly document the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center entrance and exit gates.
• Be the face of Carvana to our associates, vendors, and visitors at the site.
• Lead with effective communication with team, partners, and customers.
• Conduct routine patrols of the Inspection Center and Logistics facility yard and buildings; document safety concerns.
• Become trained and certified on life saving measures such as first aid, CPR, and AED.
• Partner with the Safe and Secure Team Lead and Manager to handle badge creation, CCTV review, and related tasks.
• Promote an incident-ready focus and execute the Incident Response Protocol as needed.
• De-escalate situations to maintain safety and Carvana values.
• Enforce Safe and Secure Principles at entrances/exits and manage access control.
• Utilize the Safe and Secure Application (SAS App) and RFID Technology.
• Deliver a service-first approach in all duties and responsibilities.
• Contribute to Carvana goals and culture of internal promotion.
