Carvana is hiring a Safe and Secure Associate in Chandler, AZ to act as the face of Carvana at gates and oversee security and inventory-control processes. The role involves ensuring strict adherence to egress/ingress procedures, emergency procedures, and incident response in a fast-paced facility.

Expect a 24/7 schedule, 18 USD per hour, and opportunities to train in first aid/CPR/AED while growing within a rapidly expanding company that values teamwork and a service-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience within a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of strong decision-making in a complex environment.
• Ability to relate well with others and establish strong working relationships.
• Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to handle conflict situations in a positive way.

Responsibilities

• Manage and document the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center entrance and exit gates.
• Be the face of Carvana to associates, vendors, and visitors at the site.
• Lead with effective communication with team, partners, and customers.
• Conduct routine patrols of the Inspection Center and Logistics facility yard and buildings, documenting security/safety concerns.
• Become trained on life-saving measures such as first aid, CPR, and AED.
• Partner with Safe and Secure Team Lead/Manager on badge creation, CCTV reviews, etc.
• Promote an incident-ready focus and follow Incident Response Protocol.
• De-escalate situations and uphold Carvana values during interactions.
• Execute Safe and Secure Principles at entrances/exits and manage access control.
• Utilize Safe and Secure App (SAS App) and RFID Technology.
• Deliver a service-first approach in all tasks.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization.
