Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Safe and Secure Associate II at our Hoffman Estates facility. You will help protect associates, customers and assets, serving at gates, handling badge creation, CCTV reviews, and incident response.

You will be trained in life-saving measures and contribute to security and safety programs across the site. This role requires staying calm under pressure, strong communication, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to resolve security requests and ensure smooth

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of strong decision-making in a complex environment.
• Ability to relate well with others and establish strong working relationships.
• Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to handle conflict situations in a positive way.
• Knowledge of CCTV, RFID, Card Access, and other Safe and Secure Technology.
• Previous experience supporting an OSHA program – Safety Team.
• Experience supporting crisis prevention and/or response plans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a service first approach in everything you do.

• Act as the egress and digress ambassador at the gates to positively impact interactions with associates, drivers, and vendors.
• Be the face of Carvana to associates, vendors, and visitors at the gates.
• Partner with the Safe and Secure Team Lead/Manager to handle badge creation, CCTV reviews, and related tasks.
• Ensure requests are delivered timely and with quality service.
• Be trained and certified in life-saving measures (first aid, CPR, AED).
• Promote an incident-ready focus and follow the Incident Response Protocol.
