Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Safe and Secure Associate to protect people, assets, and operations at our facility. You will manage gate access, patrol the site, and support incident response while representing Carvana to employees, vendors, and visitors.

A strong customer-service mindset and teamwork are essential. You will be trained in life-saving skills and collaborate with the Safe and Secure Team to ensure safety protocols, badge management, and CCTV reviews are followed closely.

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience within a customer service environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to relate well with others and establish strong working relationships.
Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to handle conflict situations in a positive way.

Responsibilities

Manage and document the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center entrance and exit gates.
Be the face of Carvana to associates, vendors, and visitors on site.
Lead with effective communication with team, partners, and customers and practice active listening.
Conduct routine patrols of the Inspection Center and Logistics facility yard and buildings, documenting safety concerns.
Become trained on life-saving measures such as first aid, CPR, and AED.
Partner with Safe and Secure Team Lead and Manager on badge creation, CCTV review, and related tasks.
Promote an incident-ready focus and follow the Incident Response Protocol.
De-escalate situations and uphold Carvana values while coordinating with partners.
