Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Safe and Secure Associate II to protect people, vehicles, and assets at our facility. You will be the face at gates, handle badge requests, CCTV reviews, and inventory tracking with a service-first mindset.

This hourly, safety‑sensitive role reports to the Safe and Secure Manager and offers growth into team leadership. We value clear communication, a calm approach to conflicts, and the ability to work across teams to resolve security concerns and incidents.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with cross-functional partners and vendors.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities.
• Ability to de-escalate conflicts and maintain professionalism.
• Knowledge of CCTV, RFID, and card access technologies.
• Experience supporting OSHA or safety programs preferred.
• Experience in crisis prevention and response planning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a service-first safety approach in all tasks.
• Serve as face of Carvana at gates for associates, vendors, and visitors.
• Assist with badge creation, CCTV reviews, and related requests with timely delivery.
• Document vehicle movements and ensure proper inventory controls.
• Support incident-ready posture and follow incident response protocols.
• Mentor and train newer associates to grow into responsibilities.
