Job summary

Carvana is hiring for a Safe and Secure Associate II to protect people and assets at our facility. You will be the face of Carvana at gates, handle badge and CCTV requests, and support vehicle locations and inventory control with our SAS App and RFID technology.

You will receive training in life-saving measures and be part of a fast-paced, safety-first team that values collaboration and proactive problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• This job position is designated as a safety-sensitive position
• Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance

Responsibilities

• Deliver a service first approach in everything you do.
• Make a difference by exemplifying our Carvana values.
• As our egress and digress “ambassador”, you will have the opportunity to positively impact daily interactions with associates, drivers, and vendors.
• Be the face of Carvana to our associates, vendors, and visitors at the gates.
• Partner with Safe and Secure Team Lead and Manager to remedy badge creation, CCTV review, and related requests.
• Ensure each request is delivered timely, with quality and service orientation.
• Receive life-saving training (first aid, CPR, AED) and act when needed during emergencies.
• Promote an incident-ready focus daily and understand the Incident Response Protocol.
• Maintain calm in difficult situations and de-escalate to protect collaboration.
• Execute the Safe and Secure Principles at entrances/exits and document movements of cars.
• Utilize SAS App and RFID technology for inventory tracking.
• Lead routine patrols and document safety or security concerns.
• Communicate effectively with team, partners, and customers.
