Job summary

Convergint Technologies LLC is seeking a full-time Security Project Specialist 3 in Fort Myers, FL. The role focuses on installing, programming, startup, and training on security projects of varying complexity, with opportunities to grow within our culture.

You will work with a team to deliver world-class service, read schematics, and perform system checks while maintaining customer satisfaction and safety standards. This role requires local travel and a strong customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant field service experience.
• Experience with fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to travel locally with occasional overnight travel.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair, and service non-routine systems.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and Operations Manager.
• Provide customer training and start-up to ensure satisfaction.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise testing activities.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams; use test instruments.
