Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Security Project Specialist 3 in Fort Myers, FL to install, program, startup and certify security projects of varying complexity. You will train customers and provide ongoing technical support as part of a dynamic team.

The role requires solid technical skills in fire alarm and electronic security systems, reading blueprints, and excellent customer service. Local travel and a valid driver's license are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Security certifications and industry licenses preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Installs, programs, tests, repairs and services a variety of non-routine systems and equipment.
• Reads blueprints, schematics, manuals and wiring diagrams to install and troubleshoot.
• Operates systems to demonstrate, commission and train customers.
• Mentors junior staff and assists in project coordination with Managers.
• Ensures customer satisfaction and supports ongoing technical service.
