Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on security systems across projects of varying complexity. You will be part of a collaborative team that supports growth and excellence in service.

The role emphasizes customer focus, technical proficiency in fire alarm and electronic security systems, and the ability to travel locally to job sites with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent experience required.
• 3–5 years of relevant field service experience preferred.
• Certifications in applicable systems (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, AMAG) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and start-up security systems per project scope.
• Troubleshoot and repair non-routine system issues on site.
• Train customers on system operation and best practices.
• Coordinate with project manager on timelines and changes.
