Job summary

Convergint Technologies LLC is seeking a Security Project Specialist 1 in Fort Myers, FL to install, program, start up, certify, and train customers on assigned projects. You will work with a team on small to less complex security, fire alarm, and building automation systems, with onsite support and customer interaction.

You will perform programming, testing, and technical support, collaborating with engineering and project teams to resolve issues and improve service quality.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Willing to learn technical skills related to fire alarm systems and electronic security systems.
• Self-starter and able to work with direct supervision.
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair, and service security systems and related equipment.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and operations to ensure timely project delivery.
• Assist in start-up, certification testing, and customer training on assigned projects.
• Identify risks and assist with strategies to minimize costs and schedule deviations.
