Job summary

Convergint Technologies LLC is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, startup, certify, and train customers on assigned projects, from small to large, across a variety of security and life-safety systems.

You will read blueprints, troubleshoot, test equipment, and document outcomes while delivering world-class service. Local travel and driving a clean record are required. Growth within Convergint is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience installing, programming and commissioning security/electronic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics and follow installation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on assigned projects.
• Read basic blueprints and wiring diagrams to determine installation procedures.
• Operate and test systems; troubleshoot malfunctions and document results.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Travel locally to job sites and work with project teams to complete on time.
