Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, startup, certify and train customers on assigned projects of varying complexity. You will join a dynamic team and grow with the company.

Responsibilities include installing security and life-safety systems, reading blueprints, and providing excellent customer service across projects with varying timelines and budgets. Local travel is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; relevant experience preferred.
• 3–5 years of field service experience preferred.
• Certifications in security systems are a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire alarm and life-safety systems.
• Read blueprints, schematics, manuals and wiring diagrams for installation.
• Coordinate startup, certification testing, customer training and documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support on projects.
