Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Security Technician in Florida. You will install, program, startup, certify, and train customers on assigned projects, including smaller or less complex installations. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on growth and delivering world-class service.

The role requires a customer-first attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to travel locally. A valid driver's license and mechanical/electrical aptitude are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent
• 1-3 years relevant field service experience preferred
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Willing to learn fire alarm/electronic security systems basics
• Ability to travel locally to jobsites regularly

Responsibilities

• Installs, programs, tests, and services security, fire alarm, life safety, or building automation systems.
• Demonstrates and trains customers on systems and equipment.
• Interprets manuals and wiring diagrams to assist installation and maintenance.
• Works with project managers to coordinate schedules and budgets.
• Ensures customer satisfaction and documents job close-out details.
