Convergint Technologies LLC is seeking a full-time Security Project Technician to install, program, startup, certify and train customers on assigned projects, including smaller, less complex jobs.

You will be part of a team focused on delivering world-class service, with opportunities to grow as Convergint grows. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally are expected as part of project execution.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Willing to learn technical skills related to fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, start-up/check-out, certify and train on assigned projects.
• Assist with system startup, commissioning, and customer training.
• Interpret manuals/schematics and use test instruments to verify operation.
• Support project team and communicate risks or changes as needed.
• Travel to local job sites and support varying project timelines.
