Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Security Technician to join our team in Florida. You will install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on assigned projects of varying complexity, from small to large.

You will work with a collaborative team, read blueprints, troubleshoot, and support ongoing system maintenance. We value service-minded professionals who communicate clearly and deliver reliable, high-quality results for our customers.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum Experience: 3–5 years relevant.
• Certifications: Product-specific certifications, Industry-specific certifications and/or licenses.
• Licenses: Valid driver’s license (non-CDL)

Responsibilities

• Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services security, fire alarm and life safety, and/or building automation systems; provides training to customers.
• Reads blueprints, schematics and manuals to determine installation procedures; interprets diagrams for repairs.
• Operates systems to demonstrate equipment, commission new systems, and analyze performance.
