Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on assigned security projects of varying complexity. You will be part of a dynamic team that supports growth and career development within a strong, values-driven culture.

You will read blueprints, troubleshoot, and perform start-up and commissioning across non-routine systems, while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining safety and quality

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Solid technical skills in fire alarm systems and/or electronic security systems.
• Solid programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems.
• Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude and ability to read blueprints/drawings.

Responsibilities

• Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services security systems and equipment.
• Reads blueprints, schematics, manuals, and wiring diagrams for installation procedures.
• Operates systems to demonstrate start-up, commission, and performance analysis.
• Mentors less experienced staff and shares knowledge with the team.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and Operations Manager on project scope and timelines.
