Job summary

Convergint is looking for a full-time Security Project Technician to install, program, system start-up/check-out, certify, and train customers on assigned projects, including small or less complex ones.

You will be part of a dynamic team that values growth and a positive culture, traveling locally to jobsites and using your mechanical and electrical aptitude to deliver high-quality results while upholding our customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer focus under pressure and a commitment to growth.
• Willing to learn technical skills related to fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Self-starter who can work with direct supervision and coordinate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair, and service a variety of security, fire alarm, life-safety, and building automation systems.
• Operate systems to commission new installations, analyze performance, and identify malfunctions.
• Collaborate with Project Manager/Operations Manager to coordinate projects and ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Provide customer training and support, and document work and outcomes.
