Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Project Technician in the United States, Texas region. You will install, program, startup/check-out, certify, and train customers on assigned projects ranging from small to large, with room to grow within Convergint's culture.

The role emphasizes delivering world-class service, safety, and satisfaction while collaborating with project teams and management. Local travel and minimal overnight stays may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant field service experience.
• Education: High School/GED or equivalent.
• Certifications: product-specific certifications and industry licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, and commission security systems.
• Provide customer training and ongoing support.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams to determine installation procedures.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager on timelines and scope.
• Travel locally to job sites as needed.
