Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, startup, certify, and train customers on projects of varying complexity. You will be part of a dynamic team that enables growth as Convergint grows.

The role emphasizes world-class service, safety, and hands-on problem solving across electronics, fire life safety, and building automation. Travel to local sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of relevant field service experience.
• Certifications in security or access-control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs, programs, tests, repairs and services security, fire alarm or building automation systems; provides customer training and supports troubleshooting.
• Reads blueprints, schematics and manuals to determine installation procedures and repairs.
• Operates systems to demonstrate equipment, commissioning new systems and identifying malfunctions.
• Mentors less experienced staff and assists in project coordination to improve customer satisfaction.
• Performs other duties as required to ensure project success.
