Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic Security Technician to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will install, program, system start-up/check-out, certify, and customer train on assigned projects including small or less complex projects.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer focus under pressure.
• Willingness to learn fire alarm/electronic security systems.
• Self-starter with supervision as needed.
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude with basic tools.
• Valid driver’s license and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, and service security, fire alarm, and life-safety systems.
• Provide customer training and support; document work.
• Interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to install and repair equipment.
• Operate and start up systems; perform certification testing.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineering for quality and scope improvements.
• Perform other duties as requested.
